  • If you are an experienced operator you may be eligible to gain Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) - to determine if this applies, you will need to complete RPL documents please contact Tahbony Training & Assessment for further information.

  • If RPL is approved a theory and practical assessment can be carried out at your worksite.

ARTICULATED HAUL TRUCK –
Statement of Attainment

RIIMPO337E– Conduct articulated haul truck operations

 

Application 

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate, load, haul and dump materials using an articulated haul truck. 

 

This unit applies to those who work in operational roles. 

 

This unit applies to both front and rear dumping haul trucks. 

 

Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and industry sectors, and must be sourced form state jurisdictions prior to applying this unit. 

 

Delivery Mode

Training and assessment will be conducted face-to-face in the student's workplace.

Course entry requirements

  • Successfully complete the pre-enrolment interview including LLN assessment. 

  • Participants must be over 16 years of age

  • Nominate and have approved a suitable workplace to complete course

RIIMPO316E – Conduct self-propelled compactor operations

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a self-propelled compactor to perform spreading, levelling and compacting operations. 

 

This unit applies to those working in site -based roles.

This unit alone does not provide sufficient skill to independently load and unload equipment. To perform this activity safely, personnel must either complete or be assisting someone who has completed RIIHAN308F Load and unload plant or equivalent.
